The works of Timna Tsfati-Neumann are characterized by a unique materiality. In fact it is the actual raw material which manifests her connection to place. She collects the materials from her immediate surroundings: the mountains, the fields and her well-tended garden. The oats, cacti stems, date trees and banana leaves are just some of the many species which find their way into her work.
