Michal Ben Zeev

Michal Ben Zeev has been a Binyamina resident since 2005. Through sensuous brushstrokes and layering of paint, the artist connects to her surrounding nature, looking for an interesting and unique perspective in a quite familiar local landscape: the fields, the groves, the quarry, or mt. Carmel peak. The colorfulness of the railroad landscape tricks the viewer into thinking that it might be snow peeking behind the railway, pine needles looking like firewards, and the sky's texture like heavy taffeta.
