Yasmin Jorban is a young artist born and raised in Gisser Elzarka. She loves her village, while also being acutely aware of the complicated reality of her community, her home. Like in life, so in her work, Gorban chooses optimism as a theme and a lens. She explores and renders her surrounding in grey tones, yet from her heart and mind bursts a bright and joyful color palate.
