While he loves this iconic town, he misses the old Zichron, craving the rich history of its early humble days and mourns its loss. He is a rebel by default and chooses to fight or resist institutional constraints. His paintings are dark and gloomy with occasional pops of pink, as a cheeky reminder of his cynical sense of humor.
